Lawnel farms began in 1944 when Nelson Smith purchased a beautiful farm on Craig road in the town of York. Today the farm is managed by his descendants: Lawrence, Andrew, Susan, Amos, Kirsty and Tim Northrop (Kirsty's husband). The name of the farm was derived from Lawrence and Nelson. The farm produces milk and wheat for sale as well as alfalfa and corn to feed a large dairy. We are proud to be part of a fine community.
